In the crafting of the Philippine Tourism Human Capital Development Strategy and Action Plan and in the pursuit of the goals of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Convergence efforts towards Tourism and Hospitality Education and Training signed by DOT, DEPED, TESDA, CHED, and TIBFI, we would like to invite you to participate in the discussion on some identified challenges within and among the different stakeholders to discuss and create possible solutions:

Location: Luzon

  • Session 1 (Discussion of Challenges): February 4, 2021 9am-12nn
  • Session 2 (Presentation of Output and Solutions): February 16, 2021 9am-12nn

Location: Visayas

  • Session 1 (Discussion of Challenges): February 4, 2021 2pm-5pm
  • Session 2 (Presentation of Output and Solutions): February 16, 2021 2pm-5pm

Location: Mindanao

  • Session 1 (Discussion of Challenges): February 5, 2021 9am-12nn
  • Session 2 (Presentation of Output and Solutions): February 17, 2021 9am-12nn

Location: National Capital Region

  • Session 1 (Discussion of Challenges): February 5, 2021 2pm-5pm
  • Session 2 (Presentation of Output and Solutions): February17, 2021 2pm-5pm

As seen above, each location will need to attend session 1 and session 2 to complete the attendance.

There are over 30 identified challenges divided into a total of six (6) clusters that we have the opportunity to discuss in the session. We highly encourage you to invite relevant people from your different departments/divisions to attend the FGD.

In order to do so, please give this link  https://na.eventscloud.com/phtourismhumancapital   to your potential attendees: . Once you fill up the registration, it will ask you for a cluster that you would like to join and you will be automatically be assigned to the corresponding breakout room.

You will also be given the link to all the relevant documents that is needed for this event.

  2. Standards Review and Development
  3. Industry Linkages and Partnerships
  4. ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangements on Tourism Professionals (MRA-TP)
  5. Education Tourism as a Product Offering
  6. Other Programs
