April 13, 2022

Ms. Ma. Christina Aquino
Chair
Tourism Industry Board Foundation Inc. (TIBFI)

Dear Ms. Aquino:

Hearty greetings from the Government-Academe-Industry Network, Inc.!

The pandemic continues to have far-reaching effects across all industries and a flexible workplace model could be the solution. Businesses of all sizes are adapting to a changing workforce, and embracing hybrid work models, accommodating some combination of in-person and virtual work. To help the Government, Academe, and Industry sectors get a good grasp of this paradigm shift, we are organizing a Masterclass entitled “Hybrid Work Models in Government, Academe, and Industry” on May 27, 2022 from 1:00-5:00 PM via Zoom Conference. This Masterclass is the fourth in a series of learning sessions organized by the Government Academe Industry Network (GAIN) Inc. with the goal of advancing global competitiveness of the Filipino talent.

In this Masterclass, participants are expected to:

  • Understand national and global trends in hybrid workspaces;
  • Make sense of the flexible workplace and articulate its implications to business, training,
    development, and organizational culture;
  • Learn the types of hybrid work models and why they are appealing and beneficial to
    companies and employees alike;
  • Assist in making a decision if this emerging workplace model is right for their organization to
    adapt to the evolving expectations of employees and clients;
  • Gain legal insights on compliance with the policies of DOLE, CHED, and DepEd and other
    regulatory bodies to aid in effective transition.

In this regard, we would like to personally invite you and the Tourism Industry Board Foundation Inc. (TIBFI) members to participate in the said Masterclass. This event is intended for Industry and School HRMD Professionals, Academics, Curriculum Implementors, Industry and Government Leaders.

Attached is our event poster for your reference which you can share with your member institutions / network and post on your social media sites. Should you have any inquiries, you may contact our GAIN Secretariat at +63917 632 1952 or email thegainsecretariat@gmail.com.
