Tourism Industry Board Foundation Inc., a tripartite partnership made up of corporations, labor unions, and governmental bodies, The Tourism Board and hospitality industry professionals aims to strengthen the country's human resource capital for the tourism industry. The Organization is delighted to welcome Dr. Mark Irvin Celis as its New Vice Chairperson. His experience will undoubtedly make him a valuable asset.
Dr. Mark Irvin C. Celis is currently Vice President for Academic Affairs of the Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite Campus. He holds a graduate degree in International Hospitality Management and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration, President of the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Educators of the Philippines, a Director in the Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines. He is also a Certified Hospitality Educator awarded by the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI).
His research background includes publications, presentations, and paper reviewer in various international and local research journals and conferences. He authored books in food service, front office, and other tourism and hospitality courses.
He is tapped by both private and government agencies to ensure quality in hospitality and tourism education in the Philippines. He serves as:

His humble beginning in the hospitality industry started when he worked as a Front Office Associate in an international hotel chain. At present, he is working as a part time resort business consultant.
