Dear Atty. Yap:

Greetings from the Department of Tourism!

In line with the recently approved DOT Memorandum Circular No. 2022-001 on the Revised Interim Guidelines Governing Applications for Accreditation During the State of Calamity Due to COVID-19, the Office of Tourism Standards and Regulation (OTSR) through the Standards Monitoring and Enforcement Division (SMED) is pleased to share with you a copy of the aforementioned issuance.

The revised interim guideline is intended to be consistent with the most recent IATF-EID issuances in relation to the COVID-19 situation, as well as to address accreditation concerns that arose during the implementation of its antecedent. It also specifies the additional documentary requirements for new and renewal applications for various tourism enterprises.

In this regard, we would like to request HRAP's assistance in disseminating the attached Memorandum Circular to all of its members for information and guidance.

Thank you.

Very truly yours,

[signed]
