Dear Ms. Aquino,

We are pleased to inform you that in line with the celebration of the 54th Founding Anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the Philippine Department of Tourism (PDOT) is organizing a Philippine Tourism Forum with the theme: “ASEAN Tourism Towards Recovery and Resiliency” on 31 August 2021, 02:00 – 05:00 PM (GMT+8) via a virtual platform.

The forum aims to (1) serve as a platform to share best practices on the ASEAN member states’ tourism recovery efforts, and (2) share with tourism stakeholders the collective efforts of the ASEAN National Tourism Organizations (NTOs) towards Tourism Recovery in the region. It is expected to be attended by over five hundred (500) online participants from across the ASEAN, and resource speakers from the ASEAN NTOs and the ASEAN Secretariat.

In this regard, we are pleased to invite your organization to participate in the said forum. Interested participants may register through: https://bit.ly/PHTourismForum. Due to limited slots, unsuccessful registrants may also watch the livestream of the event at the official Facebook page of the DOT. Attached is the programme of activities, for reference.

Thank you and we look forward to having you join us in the forum.

Sincerely yours,

VERNA C. BUENSUCESO
