We are very excited about the 2021 Philippine Student Market Study Competition and invite hospitality and tourism students from universities and colleges throughout the Philippines to participate.  Teams may include both undergraduate and graduate students.   This is an opportunity for students to showcase their knowledge and ability in front of other students, professors, industry professionals, and recruiters.  Each team will conduct a Market Study on a market (city) of their choice.

Teams will receive training materials on how to conduct a Market Study, how to analyze hospitality and tourism data, and how to communicate their findings in a professional presentation.  Each team will prepare their presentation, practice, and then submit a video of their team presenting by Friday, November 5th, to determine finalist teams.  Teams will be notified by Friday, November 12th if they have made the finals and are invited to then present online to a panel of industry judges on Saturday, November 20th.  Complete guidelines and instructions will be provided.  Plaques will be awarded to the top teams (1st, 2nd, 3rd place, and Finalist) and the top team will receive a $500 USD prize.  Certificates will be awarded to teams receiving Honorable Mention, as well as individual certificates for each student and their faculty advisor(s).  The registration fee is $40 USD per team.

Please let us know if we can help with any questions.  We hope to see you this Saturday!
