Calling All Tourism Educators: Apply for the SIKAT Project

Full Details:

Sustainable Innovative Knowledge Application for Tourism (SIKAT) is a one-year training program sponsored by the Commission on Higher Education(CHED) and will be delivered by the University of Alicante, Spain in coordination and partnership with the Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas.

The SIKAT project is focused on improving and updating the curriculum needs of the Tourism sector, and on topics that have emerged regarding the new challenges for local universities in a post-confinement scenario.

Who should apply?

  • Open to Academic Staff/ Faculty Members who are experts in Tourism Education or teaching Tourism subjects in their respective institution.

Requirements:

  1. Fully Accomplished application form (refer to the link below)
  2. Letter of Recommendation signed by the head of University
  3. Updated Curriculum Vitae
  4. Recent 2x2 photo with white background (soft copy)
  5. A 2-minute video answering the following:
    1. How can the training help you and your institution?
    2. How can this revitalize the tourism sector?

Note: The video should be in landscape orientation, preferably in mp4 format or any format that is playable in all video players. Please upload the video in Google Drive and indicate the link in the registration.
