Logos Hope gathers people: Connecting through onboard events

MV Logos Hope will be officially opened to public in Subic Bay on June 9, bringing along her 400 crewmembers from across the globe. The unique vessel offers both onshore and onboard events for people of all ages, in addition to its array of quality, affordable books.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to meet with our international crew and join in the events, especially the International Night on June 12 taking place at Harbour Point Mall - an event to experience the big variety of cultures across the world.

Other special events that will happen on board are the Fun Night Café on June 21 and Board Game on June 28. Don’t miss the chance to have fun with family, enjoy fellowship with our international crewmembers, and learn some new games around the world!

Tickets for these special events are at Php50 each and both events have limited seats. Free entrance for children under 13 years old and senior citizens 60 years old and above. Children ages 14 and below must be accompanied by an adult. Identification card might be required.

To celebrate Logos Hope back to Subic Bay, local artists are invited to participate in the Drawing Contest. Participating artists need to submit their painting on the subject “what is hope” or “Logos Hope and the Philippines” before May 30. The winner will be announced at International night and the painting will be displayed at Logos Hope International Café.

Logos Hope offers an expanded selection of over 5,000 book titles at affordable prices. They cover a range of subjects including science, sports, hobbies, and family life. With children’s titles, academic texts, dictionaries, atlases and more, the book fair is something the whole family can enjoy.

Additionally, the rest of the Visitor Experience deck is also open for the public to explore. From the Welcome Area, which introduces the new vessel through a short movie and interactive displays, to the International Café, which has ice cream, drinks and snacks for sale, there is surely something for everyone.

Logos Hope will open to the public in Subic Bay from June 9 – July 5, 2015. Ticket costs Php20 per person. Opening hours are from 10:00 – 21:30 on Tuesdays to Saturdays, and 13:00 – 21:30 on Sundays. The ship will be closed on Mondays.
