3rd Tourism Human Resources Congress 2015


Taken at SMX Convention Center, SM Lanang, Davao City,  March 23, 2015The Congress is designed to be a venue of discussion for representatives from relevant government agencies, various tourism associations, the academe, the labor sector, human resource directors/managers of various tourism sub sectors/industries, tourism training institutions, public organizations and other entities involved in tourism human resource development. The aim is to harmonize all efforts and programs of stakeholders in the development of quality human resources.

Event Goals

The goal of the Congress is to support the achievement of the following:

  • To harmonize all efforts and programs of stakeholders in the development of equally human resources;
  • Enhancement of mechanisms, systems, and procedures of local, national, non-government units and private sectors when using human resources as a tourism development strategy;
  • To design the Congress in providing relevant and practical information on topics related to tourism human resources; and
  • To organize the Congress that will target at least 500 participants composed primarily of local government executives and officials of local and national tourism offices.

The participants are managers, directors of various tourism industry; LGUs including the major and staff of different regions all over the Philippines; deans, administration and faculty of the academic institutions, heads and members of tourism associations’ concerned government agencies, DOT Regional Directors; TESDA Regional Directors; Mass Media; Members of the Labor Sector and Students.
